X- RAY DEPARTMENT
Equipment:
X-ray machine: Philips Medicor System The process of developing is
still manual. This is time consuming. Connections/ films for digital
x rays are not yet in place. This needs additional fund. The X ray
machine had major technical problems. A request for a new one was
made to the Government via TAMISEMI.
Ultrasonography:
2 new machines were donated by Friends of Sengerema hospital one is
in the ultrasound room and one in minor thetare. Labour ward has its
own old machine and Dr Harusha, Obgyn specialist has his own from the
Touch program for cardiac disease in pregnancy.
