MEDICAL WARDS
There
is a male medical (Br. Philemon ward) and a female medical (Dr.
Marjot ward) each with 28 beds, while Grade I&II admits also a
lot of medical patients.
There
is also good cooperation with ICU where severe patients with unstable
medical conditions e.g stroke, ruptured esophageal varices are
transferred.
There
is a lack of PPE for the prevention of infectious diseases. At times
blood is not available for patients with ruptured esophageal
condition, and relatives of these patients are not eager to donate
because it is a recurrent condition. Careful counseling is done.
